The Branch Director serves as the primary leader of the branch team, establishing the culture for exceptional customer service and staff development in alignment with UMB's retail strategy. They oversee all operational aspects of the branch and are available to assist customers with teller transactions and other banking functions.

• Coach team members to improve performance, emphasizing proactive sales conversations, operational responsibilities, and effective customer interactions
• Provide support in managing complex account maintenance and resolving escalated customer concerns
• Collaborate with internal partners, including small business officers, mortgage officers, and private wealth managers
• Pursue continuous education and training to achieve personal sales and operational objectives

Qualifications:

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent professional experience
• Have at least two years of experience in leadership, management, or associate development
• Hold a minimum of two years’ experience in banking or financial services, or an equivalent combination of education and practical experience
• Either currently have NMLS registration or will obtain it within 90 days
• Have reliable transportation and flexibility to work branch hours, including weekends and occasional evenings
