Key Accountabilities for Assistant Operations Manager:

• Offer direction, mentorship, and assistance to a team of banking professionals in order to fulfill sales, service, and operational targets.
• Support the Branch or Market Manager in optimizing branch performance and guaranteeing a superior customer service experience.
• Direct the daily branch activities, ensuring they are in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulatory expectations.
• Aid customers in managing transactions, initiating account setups, and providing financial recommendations tailored to their needs.
• Cultivate customer relationships through proactive engagement strategies and introducing cross-selling opportunities to deepen connections.
• Support the Teller Supervisor and Bank Manager in scheduling, hiring, training, and evaluating the performance of teller staff members.
• Drive the acceptance of digital banking by educating customers and colleagues on the available tools and channels accessible to them.
• Step up as the acting branch leader when the Branch or Market Manager is unavailable.

Education and Experience:

Required:

• Achievement of a high school certificate or a corresponding combination of educational experience and applied skills.
• More than twelve months of sales experience.
• Experience exceeding one year in leading teams or administering financial branches.

Preferred:

• Employees are expected to achieve a business certification within two years of commencing their role.
