The duties of a Universal Banking Associate are key to:

• Governing, sustaining, and obtaining long-term mutually advantageous connections with our clientele.

• Employing the bank's advanced technology products to serve the growing needs of our clientele.

Responsibilities include:

• Meeting the quarterly and annual sales objectives for the team and branch by engaging in a range of financial activities including customer intelligence assessment, commercial real estate investments, small business administration loans, mortgage lending, treasury management services, deposits management, wealth management investment product sales, international deposit services, wire transfers, and other commercial and consumer financial products.
• Obtaining and developing loans like HELOC, Residential Lending, and Commercial Lending.
• Compliance with annual updates and regulatory mandates for Mortgage Loan Originators (MLO) necessitates a clear understanding of interest rates, financing options, and mathematical calculations to effectively cater to potential mortgage clients.
• Has a solid grasp of the bank's deposit options, loan products, and other services, including the prerequisites involved.
• Offers support to individuals seeking help with financial matters like withdrawing cash, depositing funds, transferring money, repaying loans/credit card bills, wiring funds, and exchanging foreign currencies.
• Prioritizes client satisfaction by maintaining a strong focus on delivering desired outcomes with dedication.
• Demonstrates solid critical thinking and effective problem-solving strategies to meet clients' needs.
• Engages with team members and other departments to determine the most relevant products for customers based on their unique needs.
• Interacts with clients proficiently, showcasing confident communication skills.
• Capable of efficiently absorbing information about products, services, and technologies and advising customers on how to carry out online banking transactions, utilizing mobile apps, and self-service portals.
• Skilled in the utilization of digital resources and technologies to enhance the quality of clients' digital banking experiences.

• Completes other tasks as mandated.

Qualifications include:

• The basic requirement is a high school diploma or its equivalent, like a GED, though a Bachelor's degree is recommended.
• Preference will be given to applicants who possess more than two years of experience in customer service, teller functions, sales, and Mortgage Loan Officer (MLO) roles within the banking or financial services industry.
• Adequate knowledge of the workings of branch operations.
• Track record of excellence in consultative sales within a relevant industry, showcasing adeptness in acquiring new clients, fostering customer connections, and delivering successful outcomes.
• Recognized for their professionalism and thorough approach, showcasing strong follow-up skills.
• Competent in swiftly adapting to new technologies and procedures.
• Competent in branch technology, mobile banking software, and online banking applications.
• Capability in proficiently solving problems, making decisions, and delivering top-notch customer service.
