As a Branch Banking Officer, you will play a vital role in overseeing branch operations, leading a team to achieve sales and service goals, acquiring new consumer and business customers, making referrals to partners, and proactively managing customer relationships both within and outside of the branch. You will also be responsible for maintaining consistent business development and calling programs to drive branch growth.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Managing a diverse portfolio of consumer and business customers, ensuring the referral process runs smoothly across bank departments to address client needs, strengthen relationships, and promote internal collaborations in line with branch policies.
• Leading a team to deliver exceptional customer service and address customer concerns effectively.
• Utilizing available tools and technology to identify and present sales and service opportunities to customers.
• Providing continuous training to ensure team members are knowledgeable about products, services, technology, and policies.
• Actively engaging in community involvement to build and strengthen important business and community relationships.
• Developing strategic internal relationships to promote growth and success within a designated market area.
• Overseeing the recruitment and hiring process to ensure the branch is staffed with colleagues who align with the bank's values and culture.
• Securing the necessary resources and support to help the team succeed.
• Ensuring branch operations comply with all security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures.
• Tracking and analyzing the branch's sales, service, operations, and financial performance.
• Demonstrating expertise in banking operations, investment strategies, consumer lending services, commercial banking, business loans, sales management, customer service excellence, and team development.
• Performing additional duties as assigned by branch leadership.

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED, with at least one year of experience in a retail sales leadership role focused on achieving results, or a Bachelor's Degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree with prior managerial experience in a banking or sales environment.
• Proficiency in managing sales, service, operations, and financial performance in both traditional and digital channels.
• Strong knowledge of banking operations, sales techniques, consumer and commercial lending, business banking, portfolio management, customer care, process optimization, and team leadership.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable using digital banking platforms, mobile services, and other banking technologies.
• In-depth understanding of consumer and business deposit products.
• A proven track record of developing, motivating, and leading teams to improve retention rates and business growth.
