Job Summary:

The Branch Support Manager’s primary responsibilities include assisting in branch operations, sales, and customer service to drive profitability and community engagement. Duties involve overseeing staff, organizing training sessions, creating schedules, providing guidance, handling Branch Manager duties as necessary, promoting various banking products, and ensuring compliance with regulations and safety protocols. Candidates should have prior banking experience (ideally 3–5 years), may need NMLS certification, and can access perks and potential bonuses.

What you’ll do:

As the Branch Support Manager, your role will support the Branch Manager in achieving outstanding financial outcomes and exceptional customer service by establishing a proactive sales and service culture. Your focus will be on optimizing employee performance, enhancing growth and profitability, and collaborating with internal teams.

• Strengthen the bank's visibility within the community by engaging in networking events and proactively reaching out through outbound calls to boost branch sales
• Supervise branch operations, including training, scheduling, and facility management
• Hold regular meetings to keep team members informed and motivated
• Conduct coaching sessions and address performance issues as necessary
• Perform Branch Manager duties in their absence
• Cross-sell banking products like deposits, loans, and retirement plans to customers based on their needs
• Perform Personal Banker duties as required
• Ensure compliance with department, bank, and regulatory policies and procedures
• Oversee adherence to safety and security protocols

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED required; a college degree or relevant banking experience preferred
• Previous managerial experience preferred
• Minimum of 3-5 years of prior banking experience preferred
• May require NMLS certification
