Client Relationship Specialist are at the forefront of refining the client experience, setting a new benchmark for service excellence within the organization. Duties and Responsibilities:
Client Support:
Establish and enhance client relationships by engaging in regular communication with clients, processing their requests, resolving inquiries, providing counsel, and ensuring the accuracy of key information and documentation
Identify and provide guidance on Firm services and solutions that cater to clients' needs, which may involve banking offerings and secure, digital platforms such as Morgan Stanley Online and Morgan Stanley Mobile
Verify authorization and authenticate the client during the processing of their requests
Organize and manage client accounts, including gathering client information and necessary documentation, processing money movement transactions as an example
Review and respond to client account notifications as required
Other:
Join forces with financial advisers to design a business plan and meet client service expectations effectively
Help drive the team's marketing efforts by preserving marketing assets, which encompasses digital and online networking outlets, and orchestrating customer functions and educational sessions
Participate proactively in accessible training and educational opportunities, aligning with the company's strategic focus, personal growth, and keeping up-to-date with regulations and emerging technologies, as well as joining specific monthly calls for field service professionals
Provide support to Financial Advisors by handling administrative responsibilities like answering phones, arranging travel plans, coordinating client meetings, compiling expense reports, and managing calendars and documents
Participate readily in initiatives guided by local managers
Consistently seek ways to use firm resources for sharing knowledge and engaging with Financial Advisors
Educational attainment, practical exposure, understanding, and proficiencies are key components of one's skill set:
Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma/Equivalency
College degree preferred
Experience in the relevant field is a positive attribute
Aspiration to earn Series 7 (GS) and Series 66 (AG/RA) or Series 63 (AG) alongside Series 65 (RA) certifications
Knowledge/Skills:
Skilled in computer operations and well-acquainted with the functionalities of Microsoft Office programs
Superior writing talents along with strong interpersonal and customer service proficiencies
Known for being meticulous with a keen eye for details and displaying exceptional organizational skills, often adept at task prioritization
- Skilled at working in a team environment and fostering cooperation among colleagues
Competence in adapting to a high-speed and ever-changing work atmosphere
Oriented towards goals, internally driven, and focused on achieving results
