Rockland Trust is seeking a Commercial Banking Manager for their Investment Management Group, requiring a customer-centric and energetic approach.

The Commercial Banking Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with high-net-worth clients, providing a high level of personalized services to IMG's clients while supporting new business efforts through teaming with IMG financial consultants and networking with centers of influence. The Commercial Banking Manager serves as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their financial objectives and delivering comprehensive, tailored solutions to meet those objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cultivate and uphold relationships with high-net-worth individuals, understanding their financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment preferences.
• Offer personalized financial solutions and recommendations based on a detailed analysis of clients' financial circumstances.
• Consult with in-house IMG advisors for guidance on financial and retirement planning, investment management, personal insurance options, estate and trust services, special needs assistance, and advanced banking strategies.
• Serve as a trusted advisor, delivering exceptional service and ensuring investment objectives align with overall financial goals.
• Proactively identify opportunities to deepen client relationships, grow managed assets, and generate new business through referrals and networking.
• Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory updates, and market changes to keep clients well-informed.
• Manage day-to-day account operations, including investment portfolios, revocable trusts, and estates.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, investment decisions, and retirement planning goals in accordance with regulatory and internal policies.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 5–10 years of experience in financial services or a related field, with strong experience in trust administration, portfolio management, financial planning, and estate settlement.
• Proven success in developing and managing client relationships.
• Commitment to acting as a fiduciary in wealth management.
• Strong knowledge of financial markets, investment products, and wealth management principles, with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport and provide tailored advice.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while delivering outstanding client service.
• Trust certifications, Trust School completion, law degree, and/or CFP designation preferred.
