Role Overview:

Responsible for driving sales and marketing activities for Truist Mortgage Loan products within the parameters of bank policies and regulations. Facilitates referrals to additional bank services and insurance products, providing clients with valuable guidance and support.

Qualifications:

• Applicants must have at least one year of experience in the banking or lending field and a basic understanding of different residential property categories.
• Shows prowess in organization alongside effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Possesses strong interpersonal aptitude and adeptness in negotiation techniques.
• Adeptness in the utilization of appropriate computer applications.
• Within 30 days, individuals must ensure they meet the criteria of the SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act by obtaining NMLS registration and completing a background check.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A suitable background for this role includes a bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Accounting, or a similar discipline, or relevant financial sales expertise.
• Experienced in residential mortgage lending for more than two years, showcasing a strong understanding of local market intricacies and regulatory compliances.
• Proven sales results and past leadership roles held.

Main duties and requirements:

• Formulate and execute efficient mortgage marketing strategies and business development plans to meet or exceed production goals.
• Stay knowledgeable about the mortgage strategies, policies, procedures, and secondary market investor guidelines practiced by Truist.
• Abide by all Truist policies and procedures unerringly, incorporating adherence to state and federal regulations.
• Guiding clients effectively on mortgages by carefully assessing their needs and demonstrating the benefits of Truist Mortgage solutions.
• Consistently execute Truist's referral process by facilitating the integration of mortgage customers with other banking solutions.
• Aid in overseeing the documentation follow-up process for mortgage loans related to clients, attorneys, or property appraisers as necessary through quality control or post-closing verification.
