Job Description:

At Regions, the Client Care Banker is responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience, both on the cash line and on the phone, and contributing to improving the financial wellness of our customers. The purpose of this role is to create meaningful personal connections with customers while processing transactions, identify ways for Regions to meet customer needs, and assist in resolving end to end customer service inquiries. This role offers an exciting opportunity for candidates with prior teller, limited banking, or some retail sales experience who are interested in beginning a career with opportunities for growth, development, and upward mobility.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Maintains a positive and consistent customer service encounter at the cash line by adeptly assisting customers with their transactional needs, including deposits, withdrawals, and routine payments
• Answering customer queries about products and services and carrying out basic maintenance tasks like providing new or replacement cards, updating information, resetting PINs, reordering checks, and resolving simple issues
• Develops strong connections with clients, ensuring awareness of their relationship with the financial organization
• Informs and guides customers on regular consumer products and digital tools like mobile apps, online services, and ATM services, all developed to facilitate banking transactions
• Helps team members in branches by supporting them with basic tasks to enhance customer issue resolution
• Utilizing provided customer and prospect lists to make outbound phone calls, educating clients on current technology advancements, and supporting them in fulfilling their financial objectives
• When intricate financial objectives and requirements are identified, clients are directed towards an in-house group of specialists
• Adheres to bank guidelines and legal requirements, including fulfilling responsibilities authorized by the Branch Manager; as a valuable branch team contributor, maintains robust banking standards by overseeing, recognizing, and communicating operational dangers
• Reaches branch goals and objectives by identifying customer needs and offering suitable guidance and perspective on Regions' solutions

This role involves documenting hours worked in excess of 40 per week and is eligible for overtime remuneration as defined by the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Requirements:

• Acquiring a high school diploma or GED accreditation is advantageous for further education
• Aptitude to work on Saturdays when the situation requires
• Skill in overseeing currency handling and processing cash transactions
• Proficiency in interpersonal communication, telephone correspondence, and digital interactions
• Capacity to utilize a computer on a frequent basis, which includes typing and prolonged attention to a screen
• Aptitude for walking and standing for extended durations without strain
• Ability to lift up to twenty (20) pounds

Preferences:

• One year of experience in banking, cash management, or interacting with customers

Skills and Competencies:

• Manifesting the ability to adhere to stipulated policies, guidelines, and protocols
• Ability to support clients with digital financial services
• Managing multiple tasks simultaneously demonstrates efficiency and organization
• Ability to supervise substantial cash quantities

Compensation Details:

Pay scales are tailored to particular job positions and are utilized as a reference point for compensation deliberations.
