As a Registered Client Service Associate, you will be tasked with helping clients resolve issues

Celebrating more than 60 years of rich history and recognition for service and excellence in the Financial Services industry, Raymond James is seeking a dynamic Client Service Associate who is motivated, detail-oriented, and a creative problem solver to join our growing team. This essential role provides high-quality, high-touch administrative support to Financial Advisors, their prospective and existing clients, and other branch staff team members.

Main duties and tasks:

  • Responds to a high influx of daily interactions by managing simple inquiries and scheduling meetings with new and existing clients via phone calls, face-to-face discussions, virtual means, and mail communication.
  • Provides crucial aid to Financial Advisors and branch office staff, demonstrating the ability to work both independently and within a team setting.
  • Handles the processing of client financial transactions and advisor/branch expense documentation with a focus on meticulous organization and accuracy.
  • Establishes accounts for new clients and investigates client and security details by utilizing internal platforms and various technological tools.
  • Checks to ensure that client paperwork and documentation meet the firm's and industry standards, making any necessary corrections or updates to ensure compliance. Continuously monitors the status of all paperwork to ensure completion and accuracy.
  • Produces written content like communications, paperwork, and evaluations to aid in retaining current clients and pursuing new ones.
  • Drafts executive summaries of business performance and personalized reports for advisor scrutiny.
  • Utilizes CRM software to manage, organize, and update client records and files.
  • Offers assistance to financial advisors in their marketing campaigns, notably in organizing seminars and client-centric events.
  • Is authorized to enter trades as instructed by the Financial Advisor.
  • Involves themselves in various training, cross-training, and professional development opportunities to stay current with company and industry policies.
  • Completes additional tasks as required.

Knowledge Of:

  • The establishment's layout, rules, mission, and strategies.
  • Traditional office protocols, routines, and methodologies employed in workplaces.
  • Concepts, techniques, and protocols relevant to investments in the securities sector.
  • Financial markets, the assortment of financial products, and the regulatory landscape within the industry will be the focal points of our conversation.

Skills In:

  • CRM systems and related contact management software are tools used for organizing and optimizing customer interactions and communication data.
  • With Microsoft Excel, users can build spreadsheets and perform calculations, making it a versatile application for data manipulation.
  • Establishing effective communication strategies across different platforms including in-person, virtual, phone, and written mediums.
  • Operating typical office devices and essential computer programs.
  • Inspecting and examining account data comprehensively.
  • Successfully navigating through multiple tasks with evolving levels of significance in a dynamic environment.
  • Recognizing the time constraints of specific issues and prioritizing conflicting tasks appropriately.
  • Vigilant follow-up can lead to the successful completion and resolution of errors or concerns.
  • Juggling stressful situations while upholding a professional demeanor and ensuring customer service remains excellent.
  • Success in solving problems efficiently is dependent on strategic planning and swift action.
  • Employing mathematical tools to handle account and transaction data effectively.
  • Creating a culture of open and honest communication that transcends organizational levels can enhance overall performance and efficiency.

Educational Attainment and Prior Employment:

A high school diploma or similar credential is a must. Candidates with one year or more of experience in the securities industry or a related domain are preferred. Alternatively, a blend of experience, education, and/or training approved by Human Resources is considered.
