Job Description for Private Banker:

Being a Private Banker at First Citizens Bank involves upholding the tradition of cultivating and expanding relationships with local business owners to help them achieve their financial objectives.

Private Bankers are responsible for acquiring and managing a portfolio of business banking relationships.This associate engages bank partners to provide a full range of deposit and related business services. Larger relationships may be managed with manager approval and/or appropriate partner support. Develops and maintains an active prospect list, customer outreach plan and quality referral sources in accordance with a sales plan to achieve production goals and profitability objectives.

Qualifications for Private Banker:

• The applicant must have a bachelor's degree along with four years of experience in business lending, credit, or business development, or have a high school diploma/GED combined with eight years of experience in these areas.
• Successfully showcased expertise in business growth and established skill in nurturing and expanding customer partnerships.
• Demonstrating proficient abilities in evaluating financial data and assessing credit risk.
• Familiarity with commercial loan products, savings and checking account options, and methods for optimizing cash handling.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Organized conflicts of interest (COIs) and referral networks
• The ability to interpret financial data accurately and evaluate credit risk enables professionals to make informed decisions in financial analysis and credit underwriting processes
• Awareness of business loan options, deposit solutions, and cash flow management tools is essential for business growth
• Delivering expert financial guidance and specialized knowledge
• Competent in sales prognosis and predictive planning
