Job Description:

Render excellent, accurate, and prompt customer assistance through the routine handling of financial transactions in a retail banking atmosphere. Serving as the initial contact point for numerous clients, the Cash Management Associate forges robust relationships by providing exceptional service, recommending relevant banking products, and directing clients to other Bank sectors as required. This position contributes to revenue enhancement by fostering and upholding enduring, lucrative client connections, ensuring conformity with operational and procedural standards, and managing cash resources adequately.

Qualifications:

• Successful completion of high school or GED equivalent is a prerequisite for applicants.
• Candidates with six months of experience in cash handling or as a teller, or an equivalent mix of education and relevant experience, are highly desired.
• Advanced skills in using the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Skilled in utilizing office and banking apparatus, including a 10-key calculator and coin counter.
• Completion of the DeGarmo Retail Behavioral Assessment is a necessary requirement.
• All applicants are required to finish the assessment in approximately 12–15 minutes and turn it in prior to the review of their applications.

Primary Functions and Responsibilities:

Operational Efficiency:

• Adhere to stringent cash control procedures while managing and balancing a cash register.
• Adhere to the specified rules and guidelines for audits, security, and operational procedures.
• Conduct customer transactions by facilitating actions like deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan repayment services.
• Engage in handling diverse transactions like bonds, municipal coupons, and money orders.
• Assist in the regular reconciliation and management of ATMs, processing all required entries efficiently.
• Certifying the deposits processed through night and lobby depositories.
• Assist with the management of dual control vault tasks.
• Stay informed about operational changes and procedural updates to guarantee ongoing compliance.

Client Experience:

• Maintain a standard of positive and professional interactions with clients at all times.
• Provide prompt and efficient responses to address client doubts and issues.
• Provide assistance to clients in fulfilling their service needs to ensure a top-notch overall experience.
• Deepen product and service knowledge by joining sales meetings, training sessions, and web-based learning sessions.

Sales and Service:

• Recognize situations where recommending complementary items can enhance the client interaction.
• Assist in directing clients and prospects to the designated internal team members for further guidance.
• Nurture client trust and loyalty by endorsing a variety of bank products and services that meet their financial requirements.

Compliance and Risk Management:

• Observe and adhere to all of the bank's regulations, policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Adhere to the standard risk management practices while also following the ethical guidelines of the First Horizon Code of Ethics.
• Execute any supplementary job duties as instructed.
